Description
A prop mask. The mask was worn by a well‑known actor portraying the main character in a blockbuster film. The film was released worldwide and represents the eighth and final instalment in the movie franchise. The mask was created by a renowned makeup artist and special effects designer, who served as the special make‑up effects creator for the film. Constructed from rubber and finished in an off‑white paint, with painted brown eyebrows and faux brown hair. A split along the back of the mask allowed it to be worn by the actor. The mask exhibits signs of wear consistent with production use and age, including areas of paint loss and slight discoloration around the neck. The item is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity confirming its use as a screen prop in the film’s release.
