- Description
- Mending fabric. A 3 pack of mending tape, made of a polyester and cotton woven fabric. The fabric has been coated on one side with a hot melt fabric adhesive of thermoplastic base polymer materials. Cut to the required length but not further worked. The fabric is used to repair holes or tears in various articles of clothing etc. It may also have other uses. The edges of the tear are brought together and secured. The mending fabric is then cut to the required size and hot ironed on the reverse side of the tear, sealing the edges together. The fabric is available in three colours, black, white, beige. Measuring 50cm X 3.3 cm (approximately) per strip.

GIR 6 has been used to classify this product to subheading level 590390: other than with poly (vinyl chloride) or polyurethane. 8-digit code 59039091: coated, covered or laminated; with cellulose derivatives or other plastics, with the fabric forming the right side. also classified in accordance with Heading 5903 Chapter note 1.
