Description
The product is a vivarium to house reptiles, as a closed in environment to live in. The vivarium is made from a sheet glass of approx. 2-4 mm in thickness forming a glass box, three sides of the glass box are static the fourth side is usually for a pair of glass doors. This box would then have a plastic hood housing a light and heat source which could be an LED light and a specialist UV lamp. Sheet glass panes are glued together with silicon along the edges to form a glass box which is called an vivarium with a glass door on the forth side, a plastic hood is then placed on top of the vivarium which is separate and removable from the vivarium to house any light source. The vivarium will have a light source and heat source to emit both light and specific UV spectrum to ensure the reptile can live. Decorations can be added for the benefit of the reptile. The doors are used to access the vivarium to maintain the reptiles’ requirements for food, water, and other items. It is normally, but not exclusively, packaged in a consumer-friendly box as a kit for the hobbyist.
