- Description
- A Software Defined Radio (SDR) and an L-Band Frequency Converter which enables existing HF, VHF, or UHF line-of-sight (LOS) government and military radios voice and data to operate over commercial L-Band beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) satellites. The Core Radio Model L-Band (CRM-L) comprises of a metal box which has 2 ports/connectors on the top and 3 pin connectors on the bottom. It is electro-mechanically assembled, developed to work with the GENSS communication systems. Connector Configuration: Top Port/Connector 1: RF out/in – Connection to the L-Band Antenna Port/Connector 2: RF out/in – Connection to existing HF, VHF or UHF line-of-sight government and military radio Bottom Pin/Ribbon: DC Power Pin/Ribbon: Radio Switch Control Pin/Ribbon: Radio Interface Encased within the Main Radio Unit Platform and the Main Radio Unit the product operates within networked terminal using a point -to – satellite link . The finished product is dispatched from the manufacturer in a cardboard box, that is returned to the manufacturer.
