- Radio Interface Unit Platform (RIU-P) The RIU-P operates the Main Radio Unit Platform (MRU-P), which houses the L-Band Core Radio Module (CRM-L), enabling GENSS telecommunications for government and military radios over commercial L-Band satellites. The RIU-P is an electro-mechanical device composed of electronic components, circuit boards, and a durable resin casing. Produced through advanced manufacturing techniques combining machinery and skilled labor to ensure precision and quality. Powered by DC input at the rear, the RIU-P can be located up to 50 meters from the MRU-P via interface cable. It features five ports/connectors, three switches, and one LED on the front, plus two ports/connectors on the rear, supporting integration with military and government equipment. Front: • 2 USB Ports for external integration • Port/Connector 1: Remote Pressel (PPT A, PPT B) • Port/Connector 2: Data In/Out • Switches: Mode, On/Off, Volume Control • LED: Operating Mode Display Rear: • Port/Connector 1: DC in • Port/Connector 2: Radio Interface/DC out to power the MRU-P Products are shipped in recyclable cardboard packaging, which is returned for reuse.
