- Description
- Radio Interface Unit Personal (RIU-S) The RIU-S, available in production and beta models, controls the L-Band Main Radio Unit S (Personal) equipped with the Core Radio Module L-Band (CRM-L). It enables GENSS telecommunications and ensures interoperability between government/military radios and commercial L-Band satellites. The unit is built with electronic components, circuit boards, and durable resin, using advanced manufacturing for quality and precision. Powered by DC from the MRU-S battery, the RIU-S features two switches (volume and mode select), three ports/connectors (ancillary equipment, MRU-S lead, USB), and two side buttons (PPT A/B) for integration with military and government devices. Packaging uses recyclable materials, which are returned to the manufacturer.
