- Description
- The Transmitter-Receiver is used to transmit and receive signals as an underwater emergency telephone. The Transmitter-Receiver converts voice signals into a modulated signal for transmission by a transducer into the water. It also does the reverse and converts received signals back into audible signals that can be heard through the speaker. The unit is transported in a dedicated wooden crate.

GIR 6 - Has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 8517 62 - Machines for the reception, conversion and transmission or regeneration of voice, images or other data, including switching and routing apparatus. Also Classified in Accordance with: Section Note 2(b) to Section XVI Harmonized System Explanatory Notes (HSEN's) (F) to Heading 8517
