- Description
- Test tablets are plastic discs available in sizes of 16 mm and 25 mm diameter, each containing a single metal test sphere. These spheres come in diameters of up to 1.5 mm and 3.2 mm, and are available in Ferrous, Brass, Phosphor Bronze, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. Test tablets are certified and colour coded for easy identification. Test tablets are used to test industrial metal detectors. To conduct a test, each tablet should be run down the production line, passing through the metal detector one after another with the actual metal test piece passing through the metal detector's aperture. If the metal detector correctly identifies the test tablet, the conveyor should stop, confirming the test is successful. Test weights come with an accredited calibration certificate.
