- Screwgate Carabiners (Locking carabiners) The carabiners are designed with a locking mechanism to prevent accidental opening. Screwgate is a manual locking gate requiring screwing/unscrewing of the barrel to lock/unlock. Primarily made from aluminium. Intended for mountaineering, climbing, and other recreational climbing activities. The carabiners are sold in a variety of colours.
