- Description
- The product is an insect meal produced from the larvae of black soldier flies. The larvae are reared, harvested and dried. The fat is then extracted from the larvae, which is then milled into a powder. After being turned in to a flour the larvae have lost the essential characteristics of their original form. The product is used as a source of protein when added to the production of dog food to create a hypoallergenic insect based dog food. The product is packaged in 1 tonne tote bags.

- Justification
