- Description
- The product is a rubber bellow, a component for a mechanical seal assembly. The black moulded elastomer forms the secondary sealing interface between the mechanical seal assembly and the equipment being sealed. The bellow (without the metal spring) is manufactured from nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) a vulcanised synthetic fluoroelastomer copolymer. Each NBR moulded part is manufactured by compression moulding and is custom designed for its specific mechanical seal application. The component is combined with other mechanical seal elements to meet precise specifications.
