Description
Rectangular road traffic signs, sized 600 x 450mm, use silk printing to apply ink via a mesh stencil and squeegee. They are made from 50% recycled ABS plastic and 50% virgin HDPE material. Silk screen printing produces crisp, vibrant images that remain clear over time, making them highly visible to road users. The blend of recycled ABS and virgin HDPE gives the signs strength while promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility. Typically, these signs are used for regulatory, informational, or warning purposes on highways and urban streets The printed signs are: Footpath closed Footpath closed ahead footway closed ahead Pedestrians x3 Red blank with a white border Packaged in cartons

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. GIR 3b has been used as it is considered the printed matter is the essential character. GIR 5b has been used to identify the type of packaging, in cartons GIR 6 has been used to classify the goods to subheading 491199 : Other than trade advertising material, commercial catalogues and the like; Other than pictures, designs and photographs.
