- Description
- The product is a Stop/Go Sign. It has a red “Stop” on one side & a green “Go” sign on the other, the Stop” & “Go” has been printed onto the sign. They are silk printed, a technique that pushes ink through a mesh screen with a stencil onto a surface using a squeegee to transfer the ink where the mesh is open. The sign is made of 50% recycled ABS plastic & 50% HDPE plastic virgin material and the pole is made of PVC plastic and is red and white in design. The stop/go sign is affixed to an ABS plastic backing. The sign and pole are packaged as follows: 30pcs per carton, the carton is around 65 x 75 x 45cm for the signs & 23 x 22 x 78cm for the poles. They are packaged separately and then combined in a separate carton.

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. Part Two (Goods Classification Table Rules of Interpretation) of the Tariff of the United Kingdom (Reg 3(1)(a)); and b. Notes to a section or chapter of the Goods Classification Table (Reg 3(1)(b)). General interpretative rules (GIR)s: GIR 1 has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading 4911: Other printed matter, including printed pictures and photographs. GIR 2(a) has been used as the goods are unassembled. GIR 3(b) has been used as it is considered the printed matter is the essential character. GIR 5(b) has been used to identify the type of packaging: 30pcs per carton. The carton is around 65 x 75 x 45cm for the signs & 23 x 22 x 78cm for the poles. They are packaged separately and combined in a separate carton. GIR 6 has been used to classify the goods to subheading 491199 : Other than trade advertising material, commercial catalogues and the like; Other than pictures, designs and photographs.
