- Description
- The product is an Mobile digital data logger of vehicle data, which is a Mobile Digital Recorder (MDR) It is based on a Linux embedded operating system. It is designed for automotive monitoring and fleet management. With a 1tb SSD (solid state drive) or HDD (hard disk drive), which can be upgraded to 2tb. The data collected from on board sensors and from cameras, includes driver performance, vehicle information and location/route data. It connects to the vehicle bus or analog sensors and collects data in real-time, and features auto download via Wi-Fi, 3g/4g or via USB on return of the vehicle to base. It transmits the data wirelessly, at scheduled times, in the event of an incident, or on user command sent with software or stored locally on SD cards/HDD. It sends urgent email alerts to specified addresses in the event of pre-determined incidents. The vehicle data collected by the data logger is encrypted and compressed to ensure security and minimize storage size. It can be used to: efficiently manage fleet vehicles. Track accidents and incidents with built-in g-sensor. Instantly warn fleet manager of accidents and pre-determined incidents; alert fleet manager to vehicle theft or misuse (geofencing); trace vehicle location and route. Proactively enhance driver safety through performance tracking; it provides evidence in the event of accident or incident. It has GPS for location, monitoring and tracking on playback. Is shock resistant. It is based on a Linux embedded operating system. With an operating voltage 8.5 to 32 vdc. Weight 2.7 kg. Dimensions 190mm (W) x 223mm (D) x 82mm (H). This new model is not identical, to previous model the additions are that instead of just 4 standard cameras, there is also an option to use 4 IP cameras or a mixture of the 2, up to 8 in total. Also, the internal chipsets have been upgraded for better performance. However, the system’s base function remains the same. It’s still a tracking system with video recording functionality.
