Description
This 1.6 mm steel wire rod is made from Grade 1040 medium-carbon steel and features a bright finish without any phosphate coating. It comes in light pockets, which means the wire is wound into coils, offering a tensile strength between 1800 and 2000 N/mm² and a minimum torsion of 33 turns. Designed specifically for bed spring manufacturing, each package weighs between 900 and 1000 kg. When imported, the wire arrives as a wound coil.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect: a.
