- Description
- A set of hand held training instruments that simulate radiation detectors and emitters without producing or detecting radiation. The emitters generate radio signals that mimic a radiation source, and the detectors receive and display the simulated data on an LCD panel, including readings in micro sieverts. The devices are intended for educational or training use and cannot be adapted to function as real radiation equipment. Two of each unit are supplied. The detectors use 2 AA batteries, the emitters use 3 AAA batteries, and all items are stored in a purpose built, padded case.
