- Description
- Black powder coated rack rails, typically manufactured from carbon steel, with standardised rack unit (U) hole spacing in accordance with the 19 inch rack format. Holes may be square for cage nuts or pre tapped threaded holes for screw fixing. They are mounting racking components, designed for permanent installation in standard 19 inch server and equipment racks. They provide vertical and horizontal fixing points to support and position rack mounted equipment. Used to secure rack mountable equipment such as servers, network switches, patch panels, and shelves within a rack cabinet. Non electrical, non mechanical components that do not perform an independent mechanical or electrical function. Supplied in pairs of two, they do not make complete racks or cabinets in their own right and are designed to be installed post-delivery.
