- Description
- The product consists of a pack of pom poms intended for craft purposes. Each pom pom is made from short acrylic threads tied together in the middle radiating outwards giving a spherical shape. The pom poms are soft and fluffy and supplied in an assortment of pastel colours. They can be attached with adhesive/glue and used for craft purposes. Each pack contains five hundred pastel coloured pom poms in four different sizes and are supplied in secure packing.

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following:- For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect: a. Part Two (Goods Classification Table Rules of Interpretation) of the Tariff of the United Kingdom (Reg 3(1)(a)); and b. Notes to a section or chapter of the Goods Classification Table (Reg 3(1)(b)) General interpretative rules (GIR)s: GIR 1 - Has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading 5808 - Braids in the piece; ornamental trimmings in the piece, without embroidery, other than knitted or crocheted; tassels, pompons and similar articles. GIR 5b - Has been used to identify the type of packaging - secure pack. GIR 6 - Has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 580890 - Other than braids, in the piece. Also classified in accordance with: Harmonised System Explanatory Notes (HSENs) notes (B) (4) to heading 5808
