- Description
- A handheld unit designed to test Zener diode semiconductor components removed from printed circuit boards (PCBs). It consists of a UK sourced PCB populated with an LCD, battery and test leads, programmed and calibrated before being enclosed in a green plastic housing. The unit uses fitted flexible test leads to measure component values out of circuit and generates constant current pulses (selectable from 2mA, 5mA, 10mA and 15mA) at voltages from 0V to 50V. Each device is packaged in a cardboard box (21 × 14 × 3 cm) and supplied with a detailed manual and AAA batteries.
