- Description
- A handheld Triac and Thyristor Analyser testing device comprising a PCB and LCD display panel within a red outer housing. It is used for testing Triac and Thyristor semiconductor components that have been removed from printed circuit boards (PCBs). The device applies test currents to 100µA up to 90mA (with test load currents of up to 100mA). It automatically identifies the type of component (Thyristor or Triac) using supplied leads and also categorises the gate sensitivity. The test leads are applied to components, not in circuit, to test their values. The unit has a backlit alphanumeric LCD and is supplied with a AAA Alkaline cell battery. Packed in cardboard box (21 x 14 x 3cms) with a detailed manual.
