- Description
- A vertical, remote monitor, rack-mounted power distribution unit (PDU), designed for use in server cabinets. The PDU can also be described as a mains distribution panel or power strip, as it distributes electrical power to multiple outlets from a single supply. Maximum operating rating of 250V AC, providing 16 IEC C13 outlets, each individually protected by a 3.15A fuse to protect connected equipment. It distributes power from a single mains input to multiple devices such as servers, network switches, and storage systems. Remote monitoring capability is included via an integrated network management card (NMC), allowing connection to a local IP network to monitor electrical parameters such as voltage, current, and power consumption, with information accessible remotely and potentially via a local display.
