Description
A web-enabled multichannel temperature and humidity module. This is an industrial Ethernet monitoring controller designed to interface with external temperature and humidity sensors. The device collects environmental data from multiple connected sensors and transmits the information over an Ethernet network for remote monitoring and control. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) in accordance with IEEE 802.3af, allowing both power and data communication through a single network cable. The module includes an embedded web server for browser-based configuration, data logging, alarm notifications, and system integration via standard network protocols. It is commonly used for environmental monitoring in data centers. This web-enabled multichannel temperature and humidity module functions primarily as a web-enabled monitoring and communication module rather than as a standalone temperature or humidity sensor. It connects to multiple external 1-Wire temperature and humidity sensors, collects and logs their measurements, applies monitoring and alarm functions, and makes the data available over an Ethernet network. Data communication is one of this products primary functions. In addition to collecting, logging, and monitoring temperature and humidity measurements from connected sensors, it communicates sensor data to third-party software, servers, building management systems, PLCs, and cloud platforms through its Ethernet interface and supported open protocols. This communication capability is a core feature of the device and a significant part of its intended use. This module is a base unit that provides one-wire bus for up to 16 temperature and/or humidity sensors. The module would typically be packaged as an electronic instrumentation device using standard protective packaging for sensitive electronics.
