Description
The Band Splitter 2-way is a RF (Radio Frequency) signal distribution device designed to divide or combine L-band signals within satellite communication and telecommunications systems. The unit operates over an approximate frequency range of 850–2150 MHz and provides two output ports from a single input port (or vice versa when used as a combiner). It incorporates an internal RF network that splits the incoming signal while maintaining impedance matching and isolation between ports. The module also allows DC (Direct Current) power and a 10 MHz reference signal to pass through all RF ports via the coaxial connections, enabling the simultaneous transmission of RF signals, equipment power, and timing references to connected devices such as LNBs (Local Broadband Networks) or other RF equipment. The device contains no active amplification or signal processing circuitry, operates solely through passive components, and is housed in a compact metal enclosure with coaxial RF connectors for integration into RF distribution systems.
