A Load cell or force sensor is a devise which converts load or force into electrical signals. It is manufactured from stainless steel with a threaded centre hole that runs from the top to the bottom for mounting purposes. The cell utilises two stabilising diaphragms which are welded to the internal load cell to reduce off centre and side loading effects. This can be hermetically sealed for added durability. The load cell operates by ben mounted on a hard flat surface where it can measure forces applied to the centre of the cell.
