- Sub-assembly SUB002-VA-03-0032 is a part of an active tuned vibration attenuator (ATVA) designed to be installed on civilian aircraft to manage unwanted vibration and noise. Manufactured from aluminium alloy, the part is precision engineered to a specific design to be assembled, along with additional parts, to form a completed ATVA assembly and is part of the aircraft’s original design specification. The completed assembly that the sub-assembly SUB002-VA-03-0032 forms part of is supplied to the aircraft industry for use in civilian aircraft. It detects and either cancels or significantly reduces structural vibrations caused by rotors, engines, or propellers.
