- Description
- A sterile, single-use patient connecting tube used as an accessory to suction pumps. Made from plastic. Its primary function is to transport fluids from the patient through an endoscope or other equipment into a suction jar during suction procedures. Designed for certain types of suction pumps. One end of the tubing connects to the endoscope, the other end connects to the suction jar, when the suction pump creates negative pressure, fluids are drawn through the tubing into the collection system. Packaged in sterile packs and then cardboard box.
