Description
The product is a weather shield and a protective enclosure designed for use with a sensor system. It is manufactured primarily from powder-coated aluminium and is produced using standard metal fabrication processes such as cutting, forming and surface finishing. The weather shield is not handmade; the part is machine fabricated. It does not contain electronics or active components. The unit is intended to provide physical protection against environmental factors including rain, dust, debris and solar exposure. The product is supplied as a final assembly with mounting hardware and fittings, intended for installation over the sensor in outdoor or industrial environments. The final assembly is packaged in a cardboard box.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
