- Description
- The product is a serial interface device used for configuration and commissioning of a sensor system by the same trader. It connects the sensor to a mobile phone or tablet via Bluetooth to support setup, parameter adjustment, calibration, and diagnostics through an application. The unit is used during installation and servicing and does not carry out sensing or monitoring during normal operation. It typically includes a plastic housing, a printed circuit board, serial communication electronics, a USB-C power input, and a connector for the sensor. Power is supplied externally through a USB-C power bank, as the device does not contain an internal battery. It is generally supplied as a single unit in protective packaging with setup instructions, without a USB-C power source. Packed in a small retail-style or industrial cardboard box.

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following:- For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. GIR 5 (b) - Has been used to identify the type of packaging as a cardboard box. GIR 6 - Has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 8517.62 - Machines for the reception, conversion and transmission or regeneration of voice, images or other data, including switching and routing apparatus.
