- Description
- The product consists of mixed bell pepper crisps made from sliced red, green, and yellow peppers. The peppers are vacuum‑fried in rapeseed oil. The product is packaged in 2.0 lb bags, with six bags per carton. Production process: Fresh vegetables are tested for pesticide residues, washed under high-pressure water, and sliced. The slices are steam-disinfected, rapidly cooled, and individually quick frozen before being coated in a light tapioca starch solution to enhance crispness. They are then vacuum-fried at low temperature in rapeseed oil, which helps preserve the vegetables’ colour, shape, and nutritional properties. Excess oil is removed by centrifugation, and the finished products are quality-checked, metal-detected, and vacuum-packed in aluminium foil bags within outer cartons.
