Description
Fibre Optic Dust-proof Adapters which have a dust shutter to prevent dust particles interfering with the high-power laser signals (beams) that pass through them when in operation. They are used in Fibre Optics Telecoms routing apparatus (wired or wireless networks). Used inside apparatus for the transmission or reception of voice, images or other data, including apparatus for communication in a wired or wireless network (such as a local or wide area network). They are also used inside machines for the reception, conversion and transmission or regeneration of voice , images or other data, including switching and routing apparatus. They act as a docking station, featuring internal alignment of sleeves to precisely mate the connectors and are used in patch panels, wall outlets, and equipment to join different cable types or extend connection. Fibre Optic “Connectors” are physically attached to optical fibre cables and they use matching size & shape “Adapters” to be joined and function in Telecoms apparatus in Fibre Optic network applications. Fibre optic connectors and adapters are the essential hardware used to join optical fibres, allowing light to pass through with minimal interruption. Connectors are the "plugs" at the ends of fibre cables, while Adapters (also called couplers) are the "sockets" that align and hold two connectors together. Fibre optic Adapters are designed to connect two fibre optic cables together. Dust shutter Adapters are dust-proof clean and ensure precise alignment of the fibre cores so that light can jump from one cable to the next without loss.
