Description
A display monitor for installation into the cockpit of various business jet and turboprop based aircraft as an Electronic Flight Instrument System. It is used for generating symbols and flight navigation information to assist cabin crew during flight. The unit uses a cathode ray tube to display imagery and has a screen size of 8” x 7”, 16 colours.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a. Notes to a section or chapter of the Goods Classification Table (Reg 3(1)(b)) General interpretative rules (GIR)s: GIR 1 has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading 8528 - Monitors and projectors, not incorporating television reception apparatus; reception apparatus for television, whether or not incorporating radio-broadcast receivers or sound or video recording or reproducing apparatus GIR 6 has been used to classify the goods to sub-heading 8528 49 – Other than capable of directly connecting to and designed for use with an automatic data processing machine of heading 8471 Also classified in accordance with :- Harmonised Standard Explanatory Notes (HSENs) to heading – 8528 (B)
