Description
The TLS755‑01‑0102A is an airborne Multi‑Mode Receiver (MMR) used in aircraft navigation systems. It integrates multiple radio and satellite navigation receiver functions into a single unit, enabling the aircraft to receive and process signals from ground‑based and satellite navigation systems to support en‑route navigation and precision approach and landing operations. The MMR is essentially a combined navigation receiver system: It receives signals from: ILS (Instrument Landing System) VOR/DME (radio navigation aids) GNSS (GPS / satellite navigation) MLS / GLS (precision landing systems) These are then: Processed into navigation guidance data Sent to cockpit displays / flight control systems It provides: Position data Approach guidance (localiser + glideslope) Precision landing capability

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
