Description
The goods are a pair of table lamps designed by Angelo Lelii and produced circa 1959. They are made from brass and acrylic. Angelo Lelii was the founder and artistic director of Arredoluce, Monza, and is recognised as a significant contributor to post-war Italian lighting design. Lelii's work is documented in specialist literature and exhibition catalogues and is represented in museum and private collections dedicated to modern Italian design. His designs are recognised for their contribution to the development of 20th-century Italian lighting. Angelo Lelii received significant institutional recognition within Italian design history, with his work associated with the Compasso d’Oro/ADI design canon and later regarded as award-level, museum quality design.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
