- Description
- Direct current 525kV submarine cable, which comprises of a copper conductor with XLPE insulation, lead sheath, polyethylene outer jacket, and single-wire armouring. It is designed to transmit high voltage direct current for connection to and supply of the mains electricity network. It is shipped on large reels, between 10km and 120km of cable on a reel.

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: - General Interpretative Rules (GIR)s: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, Reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
