- Description
- This floor lamp by Angelo Lelii, designed circa 1952, is executed in marble, painted brass and painted aluminium. Angelo Lelii was the founder and artistic director of Arredoluce, Monza, and is recognised as a significant contributor to post-war Italian lighting design and this lamp represents an important example of early post-war Italian lighting design, combining technical innovation with elegant proportions and a refined use of materials. Produced in limited numbers for refined architectural interiors, surviving examples of this model are increasingly rare, making it a significant and collectible work of post-war Italian design.
