- Description
- A professionally manufactured printed 'note' designed specifically for the offline transcription and long-term storage of a single cryptocurrency seed phrase. It is intended for use with cryptocurrency software and hardware wallets that utilise a single recovery (seed) phrase consisting of 12, 18, 20 or 24 words. The printed layout provides numbered fields for each word, together with dedicated sections for recording a PIN, passphrase and additional notes. The user completes the Note by hand using a waterproof permanent marker or other writing instrument specifically labelled as waterproof. The product contains no electronic components and does not interact electronically with any cryptocurrency wallet. It is printed in monochrome using a commercial printing process and precision cut to A6 size. The product is not laminated, coated, bound or perforated. The printed layout is an essential feature of the product and is specifically designed for the secure recording and long-term storage of cryptocurrency seed phrases. It is purpose-designed and marketed solely for this application rather than as a general writing sheet or stationery product.

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following:- For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect : a. Part Two (Goods Classification Table Rules of Interpretation) of the Tariff of the United Kingdom (Reg 3(1)(a)); and b. Notes to a section or chapter of the Goods Classification Table (Reg 3(1)(b)) General Interpretative Rules (GIR)s: GIR 1 - Has been used to classify this product by the terms of heading 4911 - Other printed matter, including printed pictures and photographs. GIR 3 B - Has been used as the (Recording Notes) is considered to be the essential character. GIR 5 B - Has been used to identify the type of packaging - Packaging is supplied as a retail pack. GIR 6 - Has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 4911 99 - Other than; Pictures designs and photographs. Also classified in accordance with: Harmonized System Explanatory Notes (HSEN’s) to 4911 - Paragraph 3.
