- Description
- The product is a apple and peach puree snack. This snack is designed to be eaten directly into the mouth or put on a spoon and consumed. The consistency is a lightly thinned, smooth puree due to the added juice, making it easy for children to consume as a snack. It is packaged in a box of 16x 90g squeezy pouches made from PET, aluminium, nylon and PE with a PE cap. The puree is made from Apple, peach, Apple Juice concentrate, Ascorbic acid, Malic Acid and Flavouring. It is fully smooth with no chunks but is not homogenised. The puree snack is pre-cooked to increase viscosity and soften fruit, crushed into a puree, mixed and cooked again before being cooled and then put into pouches which are sealed and heat sterilised. It is not cooked in a vacuum. It has over 13% sugars but less than 30%, all from natural sugars as the product doesn't contain any artificial sugars, sweeteners or added water.
