- Description
- A ready-to-eat pickled ginger condiment intended for use as a palate cleanser with sushi and other Asian dishes. The product is prepared from fresh, raw ginger that is processed by being cleaned, peeled, sliced, and pickled in a seasoned liquid containing water, salt, acids and sweeteners. Ingredients: Ginger, water, salt, Acetic Acids, Citric Acids, Potassium Sorbate, Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose, Sodium Saccharin, and Anthocyanins. It is packaged in individual 5 g sachets. Two hundred are placed in a plastic bag, giving a net weight of 1 kg, and five bags are then packaged in a cardboard box with a total weight of 5 kg.

- Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
