Description
A printed circuit board module. The Module comprises of a populated PCB with user interface connectors, LEDS on the front of the product for indication of Relay status, specifically designed for a Fire Alarm System 8 Way Relay Module, for use with a control panel. It is contained within a metal casing and is capable of activating external equipment. The Module mounts inside the control panel and acts as a Slave interface unit, taking its control commands from the primary Addressable Fire Alarm Panel and reporting Activation and Fault conditions. One Auxiliary power supply, rated at 1.7 Amps for 24 VDC and one resettable 4-wire power supply, a large 16- line x 40 character Back-lit LCD Display with user friendly menu. It has the capability to adjust sensitivity levels of intelligent smoke detectors and the network interface module allows the panels to communicate on a peer-to-peer network via an industry standard ARCNET protocol. The network capabilities allow site specific customization and the ability to meet local and national requirements. The product also includes a built-in ethernet port. The product is imported specifically for the company and cannot be resold as an "off the shelf" device by general stores or by any non-specialist outlet. It does not contain an integral sounder or recording device. It is packaged singularly in a cardboard box or within a larger cardboard box containing 10 or 100 units.
