- Description
- An industrial machine designed for the separation of outer husk of sunflower seeds (hulls) from the internal sunflower kernels (meats). The unit comprises a top section, bottom section, inlet and outlet sections. A motor driven rotary feeder introduces the seeds into the machine. Sunflower seeds are fed into the machine and are then distributed into the aspirator where a series of bars assists in the flow and also helps with the separation of the hulls. Air passes through the system and carries the removed hulls out though the top section. The aspirator size is approximately 3 m x 1.5 m x 1.7 m, it weighs about 1.5 tonnes and is shipped in a container suitably secured for the journey but without additional packing.
