Description
The Sunflower dehulling cyclone function is to remove sunflower hulls and dust from an air stream. The cyclones are manufactured from carbon steel, abrasion resistant steel and sealing with silicone foam gasket. The cyclones comprises of a cylindrical inlet section and a conical lower section which are bolted together as an assembly The inlet air stream combined with a percentage of sunflower hulls and dust particles enter the cyclone from the side of the cylindrical section, the geometry of the cyclone ensures that the hulls are separated from the air stream and drop to the bottom of the cyclone where they are discharged through a small outlet. The air stream with the hulls removed are discharged out through the top of the cyclone. The cyclone is designed to work at atmospheric pressure and temperature. The cyclones sizes are various sizes for this application the size is approximately 0.75 m diameter x 2.8 m in height and weigh 600 kg, they are shipped in a container suitably secured for the journey but without additional packing.

Justification
