Description
The body of the tool is made from AISI 4145 steel, a standard alloy steel. The bearing sleeve is made from HNBR which is a synthetic polymer commonly used in sealing applications. The Rotating parts of this tool are made from Stellite which is a non magentic alloy. Primarily used in oil & gas wells during the drilling phase to assist with torque reduction in the drill string and protection of existing wellbore casing. Tool is 8-1/8" in diameter up to 34" long. Tool comprises of 2 main components, 1 steel body and 1 outer sleeve rubber bearing assy. The tool forms part of the drill string and is rotated from a motor on the surface. The elastomeric outer bearing allows the body of the tool to freely rotate and decouples the tortousity of the wellbore (Casing) interaction from the drill string. The tool may be placed in a wooden crate or shipping basket depending on what the customer requests for shipping.

Justification
Classification has been determined in accordance with the following: For the purposes of determining the commodity codes within which goods most appropriately fall, reg 3 (1) of The Customs Tariff (Establishment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 sets out that the rules of interpretation contained in the following have effect – a.
