- Description
- A domestic electrical appliance which is for household use to sanitize hearing aid devices. A ball bearing fan continuously circulates warm, dry air around the sound processor for the whole of the operating cycle. This causes moisture to move out of the hearing device by diffusion. The warm air is used alongside a de-humidifying absorbent (MOL sieve) which is packed in a moulded disposable container and is placed in the appliance to lower humidity and capture the moisture released during the drying cycle. The appliance also contains an ultraviolet (UV-C) lamp but it can be run without the lamp function. The appliance is used via an AC adapter. Packed in a cardboard box and distributed via audiologists, hospitals and authorised distributors
