- Description
- A high energy enclosed cabinet style X-ray screening system, utilizing a 2.5MeV X-ray source to screen pallets and unit load devices (ULDs) for threats and contraband, the cargo moves through an inspection tunnel on a conveyor system with entrance and exit conveyors that facilitate loading and unloading of containers and pallets. The system has integral shielding, which reduces the radiation control area to the boundary of the system. The x-ray scanner can be operated as a standalone unit or integrated into an automated air cargo handling system. It combines the operational advantages of a cabinet-type X-ray system with the inspection capabilities of a high-energy X-ray imaging system. With a Scanning Speeds: 0.3 m/second System Throughput: Up to 30 pallets per hour. Power Requirements: 50 Hz: 400 V, 63 A, 44 kVA. Dimensions: Height: 4.7m, Width: 6.7m, Length 22.1m. Conveyor Capacity: 7,000 kgs.

GIR 6 - Has been used to classify the goods to subheading level 9022 19 - Apparatus based on the use of X-rays, whether or not for medical, surgical, dental or veterinary uses, including radiography or radiotherapy apparatus; For other uses.
