- Description
- A handheld dual-mode detector that uses ion trap mobility spectrometry technology to detect chemical traces from either a particle swipe or vapor sampling. The detector utilizes a sealed radioactive source to ionise the gas as a pre-cursor to the spectrometry. The device can be configured for sale in three variants: 1. Detection of explosive 2. Detection of narcotics 3. Detection of explosives and narcotics. The detector is designed to be used at military bases, border crossings, airports and other critical security checkpoints. Its dimensions are - length 409 mm x width 152 mm x height 315 mm and it weighs approximately 4.3 kg with battery. The dimensions of the handwand are - length 279 mm x diameter 28 mm and it weighs 0.065 kg.
