- Description
- A portable, ruggedized handheld dual-mode detector using ion trap mobility spectrometry technology (ITMS) to detect chemical traces from either particle swipe or vapour sampling. It utilizes a sealed radioactive source to ionize the gas as a pre-cursor to the spectrometry. The detector is designed for use in challenging environments such as ports, borders, military and law enforcement. It has a daylight readable 3.5 inch colour touchscreen display with simple user interface and intuitive menus. The analysis time is less than 12 seconds. It is powered with ac to dc external power supply, dc vehicle power adapter or main battery. Dimensions: 438 x 324 x 159mm. Approximate weight: 5.4 kg, with battery.
