- Description
- A desktop dual-mode explosives and narcotics detector. The detector uses ion trap mobility spectrometry (ITMS) to detect chemical traces from a surface wipe. It utilizes a non-radioactive photo-ionization source. The detector provides simultaneous detection of explosives and narcotic in eight seconds. An onboard computer automatically logs all data, including time, date sample analysis and system status. It also features a 10.4 in (26.4 cm) TFT-LCD monitor with resistive touch screen and a built-in printer. It is ideally suited for use at airports, prisons, events and security sensitive facilities. Dimensions are - L 500 mm (19.8 in) open, 460 mm (18 in) closed x W 480 mm (18.9 in) x H 380 mm (14.9 in) open, 180 mm (7.1 in) closed and it weighs approximately 12.99 Kg.
