- Description
- Power Converter Electro-Mechanical Assy: Aluminum enclosure, secured with SS A2 fixings which houses electronic PCAs, PSUs, other electronic/electrical devices, equipment wire, connectors. Part of a Satellite Telecommunications system. The system allows in-service government and military radios to operate over commercial L-band satellites. It provides low-latency voice and data connectivity to tactical radio networks. The system is designed for use in a static operations scenario. The Power Converter connects the system to the mains power, converting the 90 – 240 V AC power supply to 24V DC which is required by the system. The Power Converter is packaged into a Pelicase with bespoke foam cutouts and this packaged in an outer cardboard box for shipping.
