Description
A remotely operated piece of machinery designed to break down hydrates in water. It works by raising the temperature, reducing the pressure and then introducing an antifreeze agent such as methanol or glycol. The system comprises various machined components including hydraulic valves, pumps, electronic controls and sensors within an aluminium framework. Power is 110V AC at 2 amps. Weight is approximately 726KG, dimensions are just over 2.56m length, just under 1.9m wide and just over 0.5m in height.

Justification
