- Description
- A Terrace Substructure Kit intended for use with either a Porcelain or Aluminium Surface layer and contains all the parts required to assemble a 3600x3600mm deck at 600mm centres without any further finishing or fabrication, with a total area of 3600x3600mm, 12.96m². By mechanically fixing all components together the entire pedestrian area can be fixed in place removing the risk of gusts dislodging components. When used with a porcelain tray or Aqua channel decking a fully drained solution is possible, reducing the complexity of terrace design. The products are made through a number of processes. Boards and joists are extruded billet, that are pre-treated, powder coated before being cut to length and machined to add details like slots for fixing. Screws are produced using extruded steel wire cold forged to produce a thread and head before being coated to prevent corrosion. Pedestals are produced using stamped and machined steel parts, welded together and finished with an electrophoretic coating. The kit is assembled using a electric screwdriver, with the parts fixing together using the included fixings to create a finished object. Due to the size of the product delivery must take place on our own 3.6m pallets. Packaging is in bulk brown paper wrapping for the 3.6m components and brown card for fixings, pedestals and clips.
